On occasions when driving slowly with a very strong tail wind (or braking with muddy mud flaps) a loud ‘burring’ noise can be heard. The noise is caused by the mud flaps swinging forward into the tyres and rubbing. This is more of an issue with at the front wheels, as the mud flaps are closer to the tyres. I have therefore installed a small wire link to hold the flaps back away from the tyres.
